Larch Hills Winery

European varietal grapes can be found at Larch Hills Winery. Since 1992 the winery has been tending its vines, finding the cool climate types that flourish in the Shuswap Lake region. It wasn’t until 1997 that Ortega was born, their signature wine. Most of the grapes of Larch Hills Winery are grown right in their vineyard while some other unique varieties of grapes are imported from the Okanagan Valley. But all grapes are crushed and turned into exquisite wine right at the vineyard.

To get to Larch Hills Winery from Scotch Creek Cottages, you will need to head east on the Trans Canada Highway to Salmon Arm. The winery is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm for wine tasting.

Larch Hills Winery has an extensive selection of wines and an even more impressive list of awards for their wines. Several local restaurants serve their products, but they can also be purchased at many stores through out British Columbia, at the winery and on line.
