Scotch Creek / North Shuswap Area – Amenities

The town of Scotch Creek and the surrounding North Shuswap area have many convenient amenities that complement our lakeside resort. Here is information about some of the businesses, attractions and facilities which are available in the area.

  1. Scotch Creek Market – A great full-service grocery store featuring a deli, fresh baked goods, liquor outlet, post office, video rentals and fresh produce.
  2. The Hub – A great addition to Scotch Creek, renovated and proving to be an entertainment, food and beverages center to unite people in the Shuswap North Shore area.  Local folks and tourists alike will appreciate this new venue in our town.  The sweets and treats shop is a great walk, ride or drive destination from Scotch Creek Cottages, adding to your holiday experience. The hub is located at 4113 Squilax Anglemont Rd, Scotch Creek.
  3. Be Teased  – New food truck-style restaurant at 3942 Squilax Anglemont Rd, Scotch Creek, with various fresh foods and drinks, including adult beverages. Try their Pawn and Pineapple Taco for a change in your holiday menu. Be Teased is a food truck and outdoor venue that offers healthy and delicious food and drinks. Located in the scenic Scotch Creek, BC, Be Teased serves matcha tacos, salad rolls, smoothies, burgers, and more. You can also enjoy live music, games, and a picnic atmosphere with your family and friends. 
  4. Creekside Restaurant – The Creekside restaurant is a fine dining destination at the Scotch Creek Family Fun Center. You can choose from a variety of dishes, maybe starting with stuffed mushrooms or a classic bruschetta appetizer and finishing off with top sirloin or Salmon Filet. The Creekside restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 5 pm to 10 pm in the warmer season. You can reserve your table online or by phone. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or want to treat yourself to a delicious meal, the Creekside restaurant is the perfect choice for your Scotch Creek vacation.   5. Captain’s Village Marina – Just down the beach. Fuel, boats, boat rentals, parts, a vast array of boating accessories, water toys, beach fashions and wakeboarding lessons are some of the services offered by Captains. Newly expanded, renovated, and voted most improved Tige Boat Dealer Facility for 2023, worth checking out!
  6. The Captain’s Canteen is a cozy and casual outdoor restaurant at Captain’s Village Marina on the Shuswap Lake. You can enjoy a variety of treats, from chorizo breakfast burgers to salads, wraps, Quesadillas, and other options. You can also sip on coffee, tea, pop or specialty sodas while admiring the scenic views of the marina and the mountains. The Captain’s Canteen is open in the summer season from Thursday to Monday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Come and experience the friendly service, the delicious food, and the amazing atmosphere at the Captain’s Canteen.
  7. Finz Bar and Grill One of the most unique ways to enjoy the Shuswap Lake is to cruise on a boat to Finz Bar and Grill, a waterfront restaurant that offers family-friendly dining and a stunning view of the lake. You can dock your boat at the restaurant docking and enjoy a variety of dishes, from appetizers and seafood to burgers and pizza. Finz Bar and Grill also has a spacious covered and heated patio, so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere in any weather. Finz Bar and Grill is reopening in April. You can reserve your table online or by phone. Whether you are looking for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or a fun night out with friends, Finz Bar and Grill is the perfect destination for your boating adventure.
  8. PharmaChoice – With supplies to help you feel your best, look your best, protect yourself from the sun, and the rest of the standard drugstore standards.
  9. Shuswap Lake Provincial Campground – Our back gate backs onto one side of this provincial treasure. The park has more than 200 individual sites, a good-sized group area, parks, playgrounds, a large beach area, walking and nature trails, a double laned public boat launch (this is the easiest launch to access from the resort), an amphitheatre, a nature house and, also available down by the boat ramp, are other smaller item rentals such as kayaks, inflatable’s, canoes, wakeboards, etc. (inflatable’s and wakeboards are also available for rent right here at the cottages). Copper Island to the east of our resort is also part of this park area and includes additional trails and exploration opportunities.
  10. Shuswap Soul – Area-inspired clothing and drinkware.
  11. Scotch Creek Farm and Craft Market – One of our favourites is the Sunday market at the Hub near the Shuswap Lake Provincial Park gate.
  12. Shuswap Ski and Board – A great supplier of all types of water sports gear for ski and board enthusiasts.
